The Quad-City Interfaith Council held its fifth annual Many Voices of Thanks Interfaith Celebration at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Thursday, November 15th.
The night brought together all faiths in the community for song and reflection as a “Community Celebration of Thanks.”
The Community Celebration of Thanks included reflections from Rabbi Holly Cohn of Temple B’rith Shalom, Molly Friebott from the Greater Yavapai County Coalition, Faith Bridge and Deacon Kimball Arnold of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church interspersed by dance, music and a candle-lighting ceremony. Congregants from Temple B’rith Shalom are presented a blowing of shofars.
It’s the Quad City Interfaith Council’s goal to promote respect, understanding, cooperation and appreciation for the religious and faith traditions within the quad city area. It is an informal, grassroots organization with members and servant leaders of many faith communities within Yavapai County.
